There is an AMAT no-politics thread. Look for on topic messages there. Sometimes people you address as "idiots" are not this helpful. Also, look at the Wennerstrom thread for semi and semi equip news, data, and references to charts.

We "idiots" have formed something of a community here, and we will continue to discuss politics, here.

This old thread is more of an "AMAT/SemiCapX Community Forum" thread now and there are other threads where we try to keep politics out.

Most people know not to post important AMAT news here without posting in the other thread first.

I only skim this thread 40 headers at a time to see if there are notes like yours or some tid bits posted that should be in the no politics thread.
