As I have been telling all the non-Californians on the thread, prices are out of control here...as they always have been. And while they may dip and curve a bit through the years, they always are much, much higher than other parts of the country...much higher than median prices elsewhere...

Also, this is not a first home, I'm a second-time buyer. This would be a move up to approx 2300 sqft with a 15000 sqft lot in a nice neighborhood (still not good public schools though...sigh...)...it is still higwhay-robbery IMO compared to other cities but it is what it is...
