<ALL actions are ethical to the actor >

What about compulsions? Many serial killers report a compulsion that is transcendent of normal "desire" or "want". I think many states of mind become transcendent of normal definitions for wants and desires. That what religious frenzy is all about. I just watched a movie with Mrs. Coz recently about right wing religious extremists in the Jewish Army with visions of rebuilding the Temple. Too bad it meant blowing up the Dome of the Rock. The camera crew never actually got all that close to the real Dome (it was obvious, btw), and used a variety of camera tricks to suggest that they were closer than they were.

Hmmm. You sound like a situational ethicist.

I am not one.

If you are, there is probably no point in our prolonging this particular discussion, since we come at it from such divergent viewpoints that agreement is highly unlikely.
