Hmmm... puzzle. SharpCharts says IBM closed at 71.75, so who knows what is correct number. The after hours number should be correct (obviously), but they shouldn't differ from broker to broker. You got me, I just don't know the answer.

I've got IBM @ 71.31 x 71.70...one thing you'll have to get used to with IB is that in pre/postmarket trading, you don't always get the best bid/offer on NYSE stocks...and to a lesser extent, on Naz stocks. But if you check the Medved streamer, you'll get a clearer picture of what the inside action is...

On a related note, be wary of accidentally sending through a market order in AH's trading...you'll get whatever bid/offer is on the screen...and often it is not very good. At the same time, be sure to put in a limit close order in AH's just inside the extreme bid/offer. Sometimes (about 1 out of every 15 trades) you'll get it...or at least a partial fill.
