(1) Basing the B-1s in Diego Garcia is such a good idea that I don't understand why it wasn't done a long time ago.

(2) No, what I'll say is that B-2s are worse than useless in urban warfare. Do you want US military references to this fact? I'll supply if you ask.

Basing B-2s on Diego Garcia

Good place to lose those overpriced Cold War relics. I read about the loss of one due to electrical fire during the Afghanistan. The B-52 "Buffs" (Big Ugly Fat F**kers) really did the job for us in Afghanistan. They "Take a licking and keep on ticking!" They are older than most of you.
