Then what is your point in complaining about the possible cost of eliminating the threat from Iraq? Looks like a potential deficit is scarier to you than the potential loss of American lives. Your original psot left me with the impression that the expense was a reason not to do it. Correct me if I am wrong.

What studies? I would like to see them.

And more importantly, what "loopholes" are you referring to? Is there a special "loophole" section in the tax code for rich people? I have looked, and can't come up with more than my mortgage and tax "loopholes" (although I am NOT in the top 1%). Also - even if your 8 to 9% is correct (and I don't think it is), why should this group pay MORE than 8 to 9 times what others should pay?
