Thanks
I'm glad to see others are following along
I've tried to keep this thread clear from the start in Feb 1999
The opportunity to clearly timestamp and record calls was made possible with the net, so I figured I would take advantage. And show up the "experts" in the media as well.
In 99, I also saw what you saw all over SI, a lot of people shouting lots of picks with no prices, then raving about the occasional one that moved. Whenever I saw someone who'd appeared to make I good call, I almost always found there was no B/A price or clear call, the stock gapped making it impossible to buy anyway, or it was a shot in the dark. They were pretty much all "one hit wonders".
The toughest thing is keeping up to par. Every good call is expected to be followed up with same.
Last time I called the DOW close I was hellbent on doing it again. Instead, I needed to remind myself to keep things status quo. The calls will come as I see them. The DOW is the toughest due to all the factors that affect it.
But I'll continue to try.
8192 was read off of the 3 month chart. Also considered the DOW would weaken after Iraq news digested and didn't see support until just under 8200
Take care
