Karen, Do you think that after Clinton tried every form of diplomacy known to man that somehow Iraq would come to heel under Bush using the same tactics? The answer had to be that a direct threat to his existence was needed to bring them back to the table. The current administration has provided that very real threat. They don't believe the current invitation is real and will continue to work on a direct military option. What will be the result? Either Saddam will concede to full unfettered access (meaning he has disarmed) or we will attack with French, Russian and Chinese support. John
