Poison use in the US "catches hell" no matter what the cause.

LOL, that brings back a funny memory. In college I had an efficiency apartment in a 150-year-old landmark house. One day the landlord decided to call in an exterminator, but I convinced him there were no pests in my unit so he agreed not to have mine sprayed. Later that afternoon my apartment was crawling with spiders, centipedes, millipedes, beetles and all sorts of other creepy-crawlies escaping from the rest of the house where the spraying went ahead as planned. Later that night, I was awakened by a bat flying around the room!
