suf.to - typical reaction, it sells off on the news since it was widely expected .... when suf was de-listed from the old TSE300 it upticked on the news, for the same reason .... just short-term noise imho, i thought about offing some 7.30+ yesterday and the day before, never got around to it, because for one thing it would mean realising gains in this tax year .... takes a cheaper re-entry by twenty per cent or so to make it worthwhile, and i don't think we'll get that here ... more likely to get it from around the ten-loonie level imho, back to eightish .... ? pbs.org .. just stashing this for my own convenience, got to shut this magic box down to clean it .... again, aaargh ... time to stimulate the tech economy methinks, buy a new one, six times the machine for half the money .. i bought this one with gains from Arequipa, that's how old it is ..... anyway, HdS is a peruano worth a good listen imho, his central point is that the major thing lacking for most americans outside Canada and the US is a working system of property rights .... even in México, where the ejido system was wonderful in its day, for its purpose, but now needs to be changed over to the propiedad pequeña form, pretty much what we here would call fee simple or freehold ... then people could get a mortgage against it, to buy/build a house in the first place, or to make use of their equity as capital for ventures ..... we just paid for a tiny piece of an unusual type of property in M lawyers fees that approached a quarter of the purchase price, and that was a deal because the lawyer is a friend ... it's just absurd kry.to - i took a little profit, felt it wasn't acting as well as could be hoped in light of the story and current PoG move .... what a retail puppy that one, 196k made up of 166 trades .... typical for it ... that's a result of years of intense net chat regarding the thing, one suspects eh
