Of course it doesn't apply across the board....if it did we wouldn't have the proverbial room full of tax code..... Some are written for individual businesses, types of businessses, even individuals....

Bull! You lie like a worn rug.

As a percentage of current income the 'rich' pay a far lower effective tax rate than the middle class does (that is, if you go *high enough* up the income tables:)

And as far as paying *all* the taxes, the American middle class pays the biggest chunk of annual tax receipts.

This is indisputable fact - go to any reference source you want to for verification.
