< do you purchase new skis each year, Uncle Scotty? / jw > Nephew, Nah, I buy em when deals come along. I have a few buddies in the industry and when the a deal can be had, they let me know. I've had my Volkl G40's for 3 seasons, and they are great. I will keep them for powder and crud, but I wanted a more nimble ski for arcing on the groomed & light powder. I'm embarrassed to say I don't what I'm getting...beyond that they are Head's. A buddy that ski tests for Head, told me I needed them...and that he could get them for a deal. Didn't take too much of an arm twist... scott
