Mish, just because tact isn't one of your strong points, it doesn't mean you can tone it down or improve it.

Why do WE have to put up with one of you weak points? Work on it dude, huh?

Plus, while I agree with you that a low PE or PEG does not GUARANTEE a stock will go up in the short term, it sure as heck gives it a better shot to do that. And it sure gave me good reasons to buy MIR, ORB, ACF at real low points and they all ran up 60-110% in a few days or a couple weeks. Hey it works for me most of the time. What can I say?

I don't totally agree with your POS analysis, but I think you're more right than many who still think the Naz will hit 5000 again in 3 years.

As far as shorting goes, I agree that would have been a sane thing to do for the last almost 3 years, but I am just not that comfortable shorting, and that is my choice. I do buy puts occassionally because the loss is fixed.

Neverthless I lambasted TER and a few other stockcs on this thread many, many times. TER was an overvalued POS in the 30's and 40's.

If you want to discuss your favorite short once in awhile on this thread, great, espeically if you are dping well and having consistent winners. Are you? I haven't watched you. What's your track record shorting lately?

I may even consider buying puts on your short picks, if your evidence makes sense. But until they start giving us daily or real time short interest, I won't be listening to that line of reasoning much. That is my biggest peeve of all.
