Of course he implied he had little power, but as I say he did start it and just won't admit it.<LOL> I'm kind of in agreement with your corollary. His power is restricted to printing money and changing rates. Three legged stool. His balancing act is hard as he can't withdraw the money that he prints. He can move rates up or down, but when you've moved them down all the way, it's even harder to balance as you're only left with two legs. And now he seem's to have a problem in that there aren't many places left to put it. Everyone's borrowed to the max and beyond. Every loan that's being placed is destined for the bad loans file. Well maybe 5% will pay them back.

Now I know there is missing logic in there, but please don't deny me the cynicism by bringing it up.<GGG>
