The safest and cheapest investment is land which contains gold. It cannot burn, and if it did, the investment is still safe. You can invest in gold land by simply staking it in North America. This is barely possible in many other countries. The land requires maintenance, and it is possible to steal it by fraudulent business practices, which abound. This type of land only serves to transfer wealth if it is sold, or developed with proper royalty scheme and by reputable firms.

The best way to protect wealth is by making sure that governments that are elected take a predominantly capitalistic view of commerce. Too socialistic, or political a view, will result in a rigid and uncertain economy that ultimately will compromise not only the worth and production capability of commodities, but give free reign to stultifying monopoly and ultimately the shrinkage of the rights and worth of all property, intellectual, commercial, farm and home.
