Great post Searle, that url spells it out to a T. US war movies are back on the scenes for the last number of years, never went away, but there seems to be a rise and fall in the number out and I'm sure it correlates with the political scene. They are nothing more then recruiting film IMO, and the more bodies needed - - the more films. This stomp around the world and kick ass attitude has turned my stomach for years. But, it seem young American's are buying it.
