Rumsfeld is speaking to Congress, with all the disinformation and excuses in the world: Question: "Secty Rumsfeld, won't attacking Iraq cause increased suicide bombing here in the US?" Answer: "There isn't any cause and effect there. You saw 911 where we got attacked without any cause". [The Congressman wasn't ballsy enough to say "Bullsh*t, secty, AQ says our military presence in ME is the reason for the attack, and no one has denied that."] Question: "Won't inspection reduce the threat from Iraq?" Answer: "Sahddam has gone to school on our last inspectors and knows how to build tunnels, mobile weapons labs...". [What Rummie is saying is "trust us", and "there will be no peace until we take over Iraq", period.] In light of the Scott Peterson article, that is to be seriously questioned.
