NOTHING the Democrats have tried is working. And time is getting short. The Senate doesn't want to lose the race with the UN to endorse the coming war with Iraq. The public outrage against Traitor Tom Daschle and his henchmen would only get worse. OTOH, if the UN Security Council vetos the resolution and the Senate has not yet acted, the Democrats could lose EVERY Senate race this year. Look for quick Senate endorsement in early Oct., at the latest...

Dear Prolife: yes, even the liberal media says this is absolutely lunacy on the Dems part. For instance, nearly everyone agrees Bush would rather face Reno then McBride in November, though McBride with his GRANDOISE spending plans and MAJOR TAX INCREASES is unlikely to win the vote either. jdn
