it is funny, but it is pretty significant too -- Bell Labs has a significant place in the history of the tech boom -- I think many even now will be shocked 5-10 years hence at the names that have fallen by the wayside ... we aren't near done. I remember a couple of years ago taling to a programmer at fed agency next to us about JDSU -- at that time it had only been cut by 2/3s -- he was confident enough that it was coming back he was DCA'ing all the way down -- after having sold 1/2 his stake in the 100s ...
