I agree with most/all of your concepts. Guess I am cynical about where the "accounts" would be housed and what the fees, loads, charges, 12b1fees, management fees and consultation fees would be. Forget about the RETURN! Deregulation always looks like a liscense to steal to me: From the DIDC (dereg of interest rates) leading to the S&L "Crisis", Third World Loans, Glass-Stegall repeal, yadyadya. You are a smart person and have the skills to plan and invest. Most of the rest of America would be "target customers" of the Institutions offering the "new Accounts". And it just keeps on coming.
