Sam, True, also don't forget about Fujitsu. Their Sonet/ Optical equipment goes head to head against Lucent and Nortel and has made some pretty good inroads among the CLECs and RBOCs at least out on the West Coast. re: >Balance sheet management is crucial now.< So true. The Darwinian face of capitalism on the downside is showing it's destructive face and sheer survival is the main issue. Sure would be nice if Bush paid attention to that as well on the federal level. To propose waging a war against Iraq with a probable tab of $100 billion (his own advisers estimates) on top of his immense tax cut is just totally fiscally irresponsible. Good luck to all. Peter
