I wasn't sure if your humorous response was in contrast to the article. Yup. It is complicated. Still don't know how someone can set their alarm clock and go to work in a concentration camp. I wouldn't want to work in the Humane Society shelters on D-day (which is every day!) I know an ICU nurse. I think he's permanently whacked from the experience. He has this really detached view of death that is typical of people that live with life and death decisions, week in and week out.
