Merrill Lynch (MER) said late Wednesday that it has terminated Vice Chairman Thomas W. Davis and Schuyler Tilney, an investment banking managing director, because they refused to testify in a Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Justice investigation into Enron related financial transactions.
