Think about it. Who provided an accurate picture of the real defense situation, me (and the web) or Debka?

With respect to the allegations that the US military is engaged in prepositioning forces and logistic support, Debka. Sorry if you can't see that, but it's true.

They broke the story before almost anyone else. Admittedly, it was during a time period when stories were being leaked right and left.

Within the past couple of weeks, every news source in the world, just about, is publishing reports that confirm that we are building up forces, in case we decide to invade.

As for what Maersk is doing versus Fast Sealift, I am still working on that my own way. The way I understand the Jones Act, we can only use foreign flag vessels to ship defense materiel under certain conditions, which boil down to US flag vessels being otherwise occupied. That's the primary reason for my belief that our own vessels were busy before we chartered Maersk ships. But the Jones Act has been amended since I graduated. Need to "keep up with the Jones Act."-g-
