Given Lewis's written record of broad "cultural" blather almost devoid of specifics, your "generalization" retort is amusingly ironic. Checking out the Atlantic again, you might want to compare Lewis's articles theatlantic.com or theatlantic.com to my longtime favorite theatlantic.com . Offhand, I'd say if Perle and Co. wanted predictions with a track record, they'd be a lot better off calling Mary Anne Weaver. Hard to work her into the war marketing campaign, though.
