High earners like the flat tax too because it means they pay the same percent as the low earners.

BTW, Enron didn't pay income tax in those years because it had no income because it had too many employees to earn a profit. The employees and Enron payroll dept paid a collective 40% in taxes. So Enron contributed over 25% of its sales to the government in the form of payroll taxes, so Enron generated a lot more government money than all the waitresses in America that year.
