I am deeply grateful, Karen. I am trying to navigate according to conscience, which has made it necessary to distance myself from constant recriminations from (former?) friends. I find this very distressing, especially since I am not sure the rift will ever be healed. But I am trying to be fair to everyone, and to hold to my position deploring the knee- jerk flaming and resort to overblown rhetoric that goes on here and elsewhere. I made allowances when nerves were raw, but a year has passed, and things have gotten worse, and sending chiding PMs will not suffice........
