No. I have never had any involvement with Catholic education in any way.

I went through 13 years of public schools (my parents believed passionately in the principles of public education, so while many of my friends went to private school, Quaker, not Catholic, we went to public school, and our parents were very active in the PTA and in the school generally.

I then went to a private non-religious (despite the name) college, got my Masters degree from a non-religious university, and my J.D. from a public university.

So wherever you got that idea from, you need to unget it.
