Sounds like you missed my point. I was suggesting that the report would be ignored by the American people if a war with Iraq commanded their attention. I was suggesting that Bush is cynical enough to sacrifice hundreds of Americans and thousands of Iraqis if it kept his opinion ratings favorable.

I don't trust people who looked the other way and gave him intelligence support when Saddam gassed our enemies the Iranians and now claim his use of gas indicates he is a criminal and is a reason to attack his country and kill his people. Rumsfeld is part of this Reagan-Bush-Bush2 tradition.
