Hmmm... I don't remember a 7-11, but when I said "just north of Hwy 50" I meant about a mile or two.

Sounds like you must have had a pleasant time in your teens. Probably quite the expert with snowballs, no? I remember once many years ago driving past this huge high rock, headed south on the west side of the lake, when I heard a huge thunk and saw ice all over my windshield. Some kids were on top of the rock taking aim at motorists some 100 or so feet below. Thankfully it was only a snowball, but it sure scared me, and made me madder than a hornet. Never caught the kids, though.
