This is a follow-up table that uses the information in the previous table on quarterly revenue. Using the column totals as the 100 percent point, each member of the Group can be calculated as to how much it contributes to the total for each of the last 5 quarters. Also, the last column shows how much each company contributed for the sum of the 5 quarters. Some companies gained revenue share while others lost revenue share as the quarters moved forward. A note from Briefing.com on the btb: 8:40AM August semi book-to-bill better than expected - Bear Stearns : Bear Stearns Ripple Effect says that last night's Aug semi book-to-bill report was better than expected, saying it indicates a moderating of orders rather than a rapid decline, and may lead to a slightly positive reaction from semi stocks. Aug book-to-bill came in at 1.14, with front-end at 1.23 and back-end at 0.77; July's ratio was revised up to 1.22 from 1.16. I covered my short this morning on MCHP. The equity put to call ratio has been way over one for a couple of days at the close. This could mean a rally will come soon. Not to say it will last very long. Also triple witching tomorrow so we should have loads of volatility. RtS
