Japan was up due to their central bank announcing their intention to buy stocks. Maybe the fed should do the same, print money and buy stocks. Then we could look forward
to a 10 year bear market like Japan. Intervention in the end
doesn't work. It only creates imbalances that have to be painfully adressed later on. US equities in general are still very overvalued in relation to suspect earnings. Till that changes we can't have a bull market.
