Well put. The prevailing philosophy of the Republican Party is: "I've made mine ... piss on everyone else." And the right-wingers on this thread wonder why African-Americans and now Hispanics are abandoning the GOP in droves. Another problem is that the mouthpieces of the GOP used to be people with brains ... William F. Buckley, Everett Dirksen, Barry Goldwater. Now the main mouthpieces are loudmouth rabid dogs like Sean Hannity, Rush Limcompoop, Tom DeLay, Newt, etc. What we're seeing right now might well be the last hurrah of the Republican Party.
