Percentage of issues above the 50-day moving average for both the NYSE and NASDAQ have moved under the 25 percent threshold, generally associated with the intermediate-term trough neighborhood of 25 +/- 5 percent. It's too bad that they don't have long-term charts of either the ratio or the raw. The equivalent raw count for the NYSE is 325-350 stocks. July's low went below 100, and last September's went to about 100.
