It's a faster way to run out of ammo.

I prefer the atomic water gun. It shoots a jet of super cooled water at the enemy at 4000 feet per second and encases him in a sheet of ice. You can thaw them out later for questioning.

Another one is the electric rail gun which operates by firing iron slugs by a linear motor in a vacuum. A gate opens at the last mmsecond and the round hits the air at high velokitty. A pump builds a vaccuum in one barrel while another is firing. No explosive necessary.

Another is a the slow ground missile. It is a crawling round that rolls over anyterrain on a jet of air and seeks out the enemy by remote sensing. It attaches itself to the enemy by sticky goo, and belches propaganda messages and rock and roll at 130 decibels until he pushes the surrender button. A variant injects the enemy with drugs, plays soft music, offers immigration visas, business opportunities, and student loans to susceptible deserters.

The intelligent micro missile has an electronic brain, it is 3 inches by 1.5 inches, travels at perhaps 100 to 300 fps and relays coded tv back to the operator who guides it to target with joystick. Micro Helichopper missiles could hover while seeking target.
