Nothing to feel stupid about! I doubt there's a trader here who hasn't taken a mean hit like that on a stock they got caught overnight with bad news AH or in the morning premarket...it is a miserable feeling to say the least though as I've taken several hits in excess of that amount over the years. My worst was an 18,000 loss on CTXS from a buy 5 minutes before the close on a Friday and selling after a warning about 15 minutes into trading on Monday. So I only held it about 20 minutes of market time and lost 18K!! Talk about feeling HORRIBLE!! Anyway, you didn't do anything wrong...nothing dumb about it, just a case of bad luck and there's been a lot of that suffered by the masses lately. It took me awhile to get over my biggest losses but it will happen....best to you! tuna

Been there, done that, dude!! Too many times to count...

You'll be back...just reduce size for a while, take quick profits, get the confidence back...
