McNealy made so many speeches over so many years about how the game would be over if Sun ever had to become just another commodity Wintel distributor. It makes this purple-white box thing really look like desperate thrashing. Which Sun customer is going to even remotely care?

Not a good sign at all.

McNealy is still trying to beat MSFT. He cannot! They have much too much market power and it is in the money in their treasury . They won't beat them with LINUX boxes and they won't beat them either with Star Office.
