I am fortunate enough that my children feel the same way.

But ny niece moved out of her parents house as soon as she graduated from school and turned 18. Not that she moved to anything better -- moved in with one friend until the friend's mother kicked her out, now moved in with her boyfriend who still lives at home with his father, but I guess she feels this is better than being at her parents' home.

I look at her (and my nephew, who also got out and moved across the country, and didn't even come to his sister's graduatation even though his parents had sent him plane tickets) and bless my children and my relationship with them.
