I wouldn't expect any less -- the tech bubble went on a full 2 years longer than the companies were showing any REAL profit growth

The NAHB's chief economist was on BubbleVision this morning...seemed a bit concerned about the housing starts number. Tried to blame it on the weather, and Ted David cut him off at the knees, saying "every time there's a weak number, you guys blame it on the weather!" A rare moment of clarity for CNBC! (Although Ted is better than pretty much everyone else over there). Nonetheless, Ted asked him if he though residential real estate was in a bubble and the dude toed the party line and said "not a chance" or somesuch.
