Well it seems to me systems consulting is not the place to be now, since the vendors themselves need the revenue this time around, unlike the past when they were trying to jettison the low margin businesses and just take all the licenses.

Funny the bifurcation going on though- some little startups around here are hanging on with one or 2 customers... the midrange like ariba, tibco etc really, really hurting and the big guys hurting but gaining share. Its possible the really tiny shops survive this recession and prosper. I have a friend in a startup like that, this recession gives them time to get their house in order. Cash burn almost nothing and they just signed a life science company.

I like beas... I know sebl,beas are not behaving well (my 2 software plays fwiw) but they are dirt cheap, profitable and buying back stock. Hanging around the bottom here but unless they break new lows in the next few weeks they are probably ok... I hope!!
