In all fairness, many of us became smug and self-assured during the late nineties. Most of us weren't aware of the fact that, indeed, we weren't geniuses but were lucky to be on the right side of an insane and raging bull.

Some of us soon learned that our brains and trading acumen were not responsible for our great success. Others are still learning this very costly lesson, BB included.
