You do not take the offer to allow weapons inspectors back in seriously? I hope it is a bonafide offer, and we send in the military to inspect everything we want to inspect. It should not take long. And of course, we will get access to his intelligence information, and he will have to rat out all his al-Qaeda buddies. And if information comes up that he was involved, we will have to do something about that.

I think that we could provide ourselves assurances that he has no wmd and that if he does, they are disabled, in less time than it would take to mobilize a force large enough to attack.

And we can be doing both at the same time.

Right now, negotiations on what unconditional means, are probably going on.
