FBI: Terrorists Plotting New Plane Hijacking
NewsMax Wires
Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002
The New York Post reports today that al-Qaeda may be planning another airline hijacking with Muslim terrorists from Chechnya armed with liquid explosives. The paper cites FBI sources indicating that "Osama bin Laden's underlings have been planning such a strike for more than a year, and believe such a plot has a better chance of success with Chechens because they don't look like Arabs."
The FBI put out an urgent alert to all airlines yesterday.

The FBI bulletin was "a precautionary reminder" to airlines, the FBI source told the Post.

ABC News revealed that the alleged plot may employ 10 to 20 terrorists, including Muslims who had fought in Chechnya.

ABC News said the FBI has learned the plot would involve the use of liquid explosives, which would be used to gain control of the cockpit.

Keynes knew his onions. He was clearer and more sensible than any other dismalist and laid the foundation of modern economic analysis expanding on Mill and Smith. It is not really clear what he meant when he said gold was a barbarous relic. It is no more a relic than any other medium of convenient exchange. Surely he was not so naive as to think that only productionist's works that he alludes to here, is the only good work in an economy. (Lawyers and economists must eat too.) Would he have averred that paper money, advance by the Chinese to many successive ruinations of their economy was not the tool of the devilish intentions of government of whose subtle economic degradation he therein refers?
