Exactly, an important point, that everyone in the talking-head media is missing, so far. a) war is not predictable -- in fact the greater the arrogance and confidence the greater the likelihood of disaster. This time, disaster can be great indeed, for all of M.E. and the US. b) thousands of "undeterrables", suicide bombers have been carefully recruited and trained, and the current Bush regime is painting targets on the backs of every American with signs that say, "in case of war, attack here" This won't be another CNN/Nintendo war. Worse, the current regime has shown clear and repeated intent to suppress questions about 911. Unfortunately, at this point that may only be avoided by war, domestic "incidents" and martial law. Just because the Gulf War was a rather clean affair doesn't mean that history will repeat itself.
