But I don't see Iraq mentioned in that article which btw was written in 1997. A lot has changed since then. A lot!!!

Mostly it refers to Islamic sympathizers who live in the US. "Not only have funds from the United States paid for the terrorist attacks, but actual recruits have been sent from here on actual missions to fight "infidels" and set up jihad battlefronts in Algeria, Bosnia, Israel and the territories, Lebanon, Chechniya, and the Philippines." The terrorists who flew the planes into the trade centers were Saudis. The threat is not FROM Iraq. Saddam may be a brutal thug, but does that mean we should kill Iraqis to take him out when he is, after all, cooperating. When it's Islamic fundamentalists and Saudis that are the problem?

What am i missing here in this article - the big dot that justifies attacking Iraq?
