The family is nuts about the fireplace. I've come home before with the fire going and the air conditioner running.

Hi RR, yes, we've also had terrible drought, but got almost 5 inches of rain over the weekend. Some say a wet spring and a dry summer produce the best color, but I don't know if that includes drought. Some of the trees on the rockier ridge lines, where the soil is shallow, have turned or are turning (way to early). I noticed some bright orange and reds up there today. Love the fall!
