Agreed. Pretty soon, prospectuses will simply read "generic debt, 15 year securitized" <NFG>

The goal of banksters nowadays appears to be to morph their securitized assets into such an unrecognizable goulash that the bagholder couldn't figure out what he was getting if he were a cross between Einstein and Sherlock Holmes! Why not sell generic debt: throw some swaps, some mortgages, some credit card receivables, some CDO's, some junk corporates (insured up to a AAA rating c/o MBI) and some repos, all with the same expiration into a pot. Slap some lipstick on those pigs and let 'em fly out the door!
