I like the ones with a shot of the 20" LCD screen. One has a Windows desktop on it and others show what looks like live TV or movies. Awesome.

Nothing brings home the difference between the full-blown Internet that KVH is providing and what others call mobile Internet (e.g. 3G cellphones and Blackberries, etc.) than pictures like that.

As this P/R states:

<< "We selected the KVH TracVision and TracNet because there was nobody else in the industry who could offer the two-in-one approach of satellite TV and Internet. This design simplifies installation and minimizes the number of antennas that are mounted on the roof,">>

KVH is in a unique niche with this technology, and they offer both the hardware AND the airtime too. This makes for a nice all-in-one solution for customers like Becker. Becker will not be their only win in this new market - for this IS a new market for KVH.

To David Semoreson,

As an automobile industry person, is there any way you might be able to scrounge up a couple of facts for us?

Each high end sale should represent $9K for KVH (plus a cut of the airtime), so 111 units = $1M in revenue. Is there any way you could find out the number of units Becker produces monthly or quarterly, how long the order lead time is, and whether business is slow or booming?
