Oh ok- I think its more like 100 technology companies left standing, even after the consolidation... to me thats a far cry from 3, 3 sounds like the guy doesn't know what hes talking about or never took a business class... typical FUD. And even 3, in the auto industry didn't work, since it left off the related industries tire companies, audio, parts... you might want to include the gas industry etc. all of which wouldn't be there if not for cars.
