sarmad,
Bloodshed is not that bad if it is limited to the ruling clique in iraq. Perhaps there are officers who are fed up. No rational man wants his country to become THE target for the #1 world power because of the insanity of attaining WMD. No moral man wants to be the home of poison gas, small pox, anthrax and nukes poised for use. So perhaps there is an "officer and a gentleman" in the clan/army who can cause regime change with casualties limited to the bad guys?? mike
